(Ballet)
Anita began working on stage in Germany in Christmas plays to gain experience. She went on to perform in Operas and ballets for television and film while still studying ballet. Her repertoire included folklore dances, modern expression and many dances of the time. Throughout her early years of ballet training, Anita was fortunate to have the opportunity to understudy and perform in place of professional ballerinas at the Opera House. At the age of 17, Anita received her degree as a ballerina.
Anita also studied acting at the Germany Opera House and received her second degree as a state acknowledged actress. As an actress Anita has worked in all of the German speaking countries on both stage and in the German Television industry.
After earning her degrees, Anita moved to Munich where she
danced at the State Opera House and at the Gartnerplatz Theatre. Her dance
resume there included much classic ballet repertoire as well as contemporary
works. In between dancing and rehearsals
Anita taught both professional and non-professional dancers.
Anita has been a frequent member of the faculty at Motion Mania Dance Center ever since Bonnie Slawson opened the studio doors in 1990.
