Dawn Hessler
(Hip Hop, Jazz, Zumba, Pilates Mat, Pearl and Diamond Youth Companies)
Dawn Hessler, originally from Toledo, Ohio, began dancing at the age of thirteen after many years of gymnastics training; she has been dancing ever since! Dawn explored and pursued dance throughout high school and into college where she received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Ohio University.
Dawn has performed throughout the Midwest as well as Kanagawa and Tokyo, Japan. She has choreographed for school plays, fashion shows, and student showcases. Dawn has been teaching dance in the DC metro area for ten years and is known for her fun and energetic classes. She is also a certified Zumba instructor and a trained Stott Pilates instructor. Dawn is excited to be returning to Motion Mania this year to teach classes and to direct the Pearl and Diamond Youth Dance Companies.
